Meet the Founders
Learn more about Leah and Rob, the visionaries behind Elios.

Leah Harter has been a licensed counselor in private practice since 2000, specializing in trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, relationships, and women’s issues.
She is certified in EMDR and a Master Practitioner of Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), evidence-based approaches that promote rapid healing from trauma and distress.
In addition to counseling, Leah supervises emerging therapists and has taught psychology at Westminster College and Messiah University
She also leads workshops on topics such as depression, anxiety prevention, stress management, and healthy relationships.

Rob Harter is an executive leader with over 30 years of experience building and guiding mission-driven organizations.
He is a certified professional coach, nonprofit consultant, certified Enneagram instructor, and Neurofeedback technician who helps leaders create strategies to grow their organizations and maximize their impact.
Rob hosts the Nonprofit Leadership Podcast, was part of Harvard Business School’s “Young American Leaders Program” and has been recognized with multiple community awards for his service.
He is also a frequent speaker, facilitator, trainer, and coach for both nonprofit and private-sector leaders.

Elios Counseling and Coaching is a Utah-based mental health and coaching practice dedicated to helping individuals achieve emotional wellness and personal growth. We seek to provide a safe place to find hope and healing.
Our team provides professional, evidence-based counseling and coaching services, specializing in advanced modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Neurofeedback (ILF).

The name Elios is derived from the Greek word for sun and is also connected to themes of strength and vitality. Just as the sun brings light and renewal, Elios Counseling and Coaching seeks to guide clients out of the shadows of pain and struggle into greater clarity, strength, and resilience. The name reflects both vitality and transformation—qualities central to recovery and growth.
